Friday, January 25th

Today, we painted coffee filter hearts with our watercolor paintbrushes. 

They are at it again. "Ice cream for sale"

relaxing in their snow chair.

Friday, January 18th

This morning we painted with heart shaped cookie cutters.

Harlow was practicing counting on our abacus. 

Eamonn and Clara, also did some counting this morning on our number peg boards

Mira enjoyed playing house with the Calico Critters.

The block center was a busy area this morning. Everyone worked to build ramps and tunnels.

Raylan discovered that if he puts two blocks underneath each side of the scale, it won't tip.

Some Explorers, enjoying some quiet reading in the block area.

We had a lot of fun make silly potato heads today.

Lexi and Nora set up an ice cream stand. They made more sales once they offered up some hot chocolate.

Thursday, January 17th

The Explorers really enjoyed reading with the Essex High School Spanish students. A lot of the books we recognized as books that we read at school and home, so that was fun!
