Week of September 19th

Mason, Quinn, and Callan set the table and enjoyed a "meal" together.

Zoel said there was a party at the castle and as the guests left, they took the ice slide out.

We have been reading and talking about apples over the last week, so we decided to paint apples, too!

Aiden built a house for the dinosaurs and spent his time sorting all the dinosaurs by types. He noticed that some of the same dinosaurs were very different in size.

Zoel found a slug on the playground.

Aiden loaded and unloaded his truck with woodchips.

Blake enjoyed gathering water from the mud kitchen puddle and pouring it into the sink.

khanen was glad to have his handy dandy rain suit so that he could roll around on the wet grass!

Mason splashed so much in the puddle that he covered his face with mud!

We had some visitors outside of our fence. The Exploreres were excited to see such a sight. They sang and danced for the chickens in hopes that they would come closer and it worked!

If you kiddo has a rain suit, now is a great time to bring it in. If they don't, we highly recommend one as we love to splash and play in the puddles and mud kitchen.

We worked on tracing different shapes and talking about them.

Dylan did a little relaxing in the book area.

The water bin is always a huge hit for scooping, measuring, and dumping.

Week of September 12th-16th

We made glasses using pipe cleaners. So silly!

"Look, I made the letter Q!"

We worked on our fine motor skills by making beaded bracelets.

We gave our baby dolls a good washing.

We explored some different playmobile sets from the Discovers classroom.

Flinn, helped Teddy, go higher on the swing.

After some rainy days, we had the perfect puddles for splashing and jumping.

Oobleck! It feels so squishy and gooey in our hands.

Lauren, arranged all the Ana and Elsa characters on her playdough.

Week of September 6th-9th

Drop-off might still be a little emotional for some, but I assure you that within minutes your kiddo is laughing, playing, and engaging with their peers. This week, we introduced our calendar to our morning meeting time. We have some very enthusiastic counters! Friendships are being made and they are having some great conversations and learning so much about one another. I can't wait to watch how their relationships flourish!
