Letter D

Quiet choice time after snack doesn't always look this calm and quiet. I had to capture this adorable moment<3

D is for Dinosaur. We used dinosaurs to make dino tracks with paint.

Using paper plates cut in half, tissue paper and a precut head, feet, and tail, the Explorers made a dinosaur.

"Look J for Jameson!" Nice job, Teddy!

"Look I made a D!" You sure did, Flinn, awesome job!

We used scissors and practiced our cutting skills with the letter D. We have some very strong cutters in this classroom.

C is for Community Helpers

C is for construction. Mason, Teddy, and Jameson, worked hard to build a "hotel" using the blocks.

We are still squeezing in some Thanksgiving crafts to send off to the seniors in our community.

C is for Cat. We colored the letter C and some cat ears. When they finished coloring, they used scissors to cut them out and we made a cat with them.

C is for Caterpillar. Using round stickers, we followed the dots on the paper to make a caterpillar. Afterwards, they traced the words "C is for Caterpillar".

Lauren enjoyed looking at the different community helper books from the Library.

C is for Cotton Balls. We used a the letter C dot marker sheets and glued a cotton ball to each circle.

B is for Binoculars

We ended our week by having a dance party with Bubbles!

Today, we made bubble paintings using soapy water and water coloring.

We used different methods to create the letter B. Aiden is using dot markers to trace the letter.

Abby is doing a letter find to identify the upper and lower case B's.

B is for Binoculars! We made binoculars and went on a bear hunt during morning meeting, then we brought them outside to see what we could see.

Another way we created the letter B was to glue buttons onto a letter Bb template. B is for buttons!

B is also for build!

And babies in a bubble bath!
