T is for Turkey Activities!

Linden adding clothespins onto our turkeys as "feathers." This encourages using fine motor skills, as well as, number recognition and counting to have the same number clothespins as number on the turkey.

I see 3 "feathers" for the number 3. Nice work Saga!

Filling in the turkeys feathers with dot stickers.

We created T turkeys, colored, cut out and glued feathers onto turkeys. Lastly, created some colorful turkeys using dot stickers! Our class really enjoyed creating turkey art!

Color sorting activities

Nice focus Lia! She was, not only, cutting out the leaves, but gluing and placing them in the correct leaf, color column!

Sloane is focused on cutting out the picture she colored! Nice job Sloane with using the scissors safely, as well as, staying within the lines while coloring.

Saga matching her leaves to the corresponding colored column!

Friends love art projects in this class. These activities are a great way for friends to practice fine motor skills with crumpling up tissue paper, using glue(" dot, dot, not a lot!"), and practicing using scissors to safely cut along the lines.

Spider web and ghost salt painting

When you put glue on paper and top it with salt it makes for a fun, and slightly messy(when it dries) way to paint. But look at these colorful spiderwebs and ghosts that were created! What fun!

Silly Mask Fun!

These masks were oh so silly and so much fun to wear in the classroom!

We love art activities!

Shape and color matching coloring page during the morning activity.
Using dried corn to fill in the kernels. Great fine motor practice.
Making not so spooky skeletons.

Idalia looks pretty pleased with her skeleton.

Pom pom pumpkins!
Lincoln starting to create his skeleton art.

Such focus Linden!

With a little help, Rory was well on his way of filling in his color by number pumpkin.

A lot of friends enjoyed creating pom pom pumpkins. They enjoyed being able to put the glue and pumpkins in place to assemble their pumpkins.

Feeling like Fall!

Look at the gooey, stretchy pumpkin slime. We used the inside of the pumpkin and turned it into slime! It was fun to stretch.

Nice sorting and color matching Charlotte!

Idalia sure does love to swing during recess.

The calendar may say fall, but we got a glimpse of warmer temperatures. Lia took advantage and drew an amazing butterfly using sidewalk chalk.

A fun and creative activity during morning free play. Friends enjoyed hammering golf tees into the pumpkins.
Saga decided to check out the slime. She was trying to see how high she could stretch the slime.

Leaf and tree color matching activity during morning free choice

Tie-Dye Day!!!
