| Today, we had a special visitor. Mira's mom, Marcy, came in and spent some time with us. Mira helped Ms. Nicole collect leaves for a project that her mom helped with. |

| Mrs. Morgan read us the book "Fresh Fall Leaves" By Betsy Franco. The book talked about all the different things you could do with the leaves. |

| Mrs. Morgan helped the Explorers with a leaf painting project. |

| Mrs. Morgan had an assistant, Mira. She was very helpful! |
 |
| During recess, we explored all the different ways the book talked about to use the leave. We watched them fall, ran through them, raked them into piles and jumped in them. |

| We also got buried in the leaves! |

| Logan and Nora took a break from the leaves to play doctor. |
