| Last week, we made spooky bats using clothespins, coffee filters, googly eyes and black and purple paint and food coloring. |

| Today, we used scissors and practiced some fine motor skills. We worked on hold to properly hold a pair of scissors. A good trick to remind them is "thumbs up". |

| We had a generous donation from one of our families of gourds and cornstalks. The kids really enjoyed exploring the cornstalks on the playground, today. |
