Thursday, January 16th

This week, we have been working on some Valentine scissor practice. Sulley was doing a great job following the lines.

Garrett did a nice job identifying the shapes and colors as he put them where they belonged. He even learned a few new shapes.

We spent some time tracing our names.

We have a plentiful supply of tinker toys, now, thanks to one of our families who donated them to our classroom.

We used some fine motor skills to make bracelets. It was challenge trying to see the clear, fishing line.

Today, perfect for this snowy day, we used sugar cubes and built igloos and snow forts for our penguins to play in.

Meredith used a glue stick and construction paper to make her "I love you to pieces" paper.

This morning, some of my friends chose to create a cute Valentine butterfly using Popsicle sticks, construction paper hearts and a few other materials. They are adorable!
