On Tuesday, the Explorers colored white paper with black crayon so that we could make some spooky spiders to put on our wonderful webs that we made on Monday. They look great!
On Tuesday, we played a letter matching game. Everyone got to pick a letter, identify it (with the help of their classmates) and then we talked about what sounds that letter makes. They were all very good and could even tell us other words that began with the letter.
Since Tuesday was a rainy day, we had fun creating spooky Halloween pictures with some stickers and markers.
Today, we started the first part of making Halloween bats. They colored coffee filters with blue, green, purple and black marker and then sprayed them with water to make the color bleed. Tomorrow, we will paint a clothespin black to complete the bats. They are very excited to take them home!
