“Look Mrs. Crystal, I made a frog! His name is Boing Boing!”
Dwyer and Morgan had a blast racing their monster trucks down the ramp.
Monday afternoon, friends were doing a lot of cooperative/group playing and building.
On Tuesday, we made winter scenes by painting with white and blue paint. After that, we speak a little bit of white glue on top and then sprinkled epsom salt to make a icy look. These painting were super fun to make, but the salt didn't stick as well as we thought it would so they are too messy to send home.
The Explorers love playing in water, so we decided to take advantage of the helpful hands and have them wash our dramatic play dishes!
Another example of the amazing cooperative play/building that our friends have been up to. Look at this amazing wall that Liam and Margaret built for their animals.
There was a lot of excitement over watching our neighbors have some stumps ground down in their yard.
On Wednesday, we made snow owls. We used white paint and a loofa to create a white shape for the owl's body and then they used scissors to cut out eyes and a beak.
Since the temperature was so cold, we didn't spend quite as much time outside. We enjoyed doing a Christmas Cosmic Kid's Yoga episode. If you have never heard of it, it is a great activity for kids. She has some very fun stories that go along with her yoga for kids. We find them right on YouTube.
Marion was being silly in a tire. She kept "falling" into the tire.
