Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming a new friend into the Explorers classroom. Everyone, meet Lewyn! Her family just recently moved to Vermont from California. Lewyn had an amazing first day at preschool. The Explorers were very welcoming and eager to get to know her.
This week we have been busy getting back into the routine of things, so it has been a pretty relaxed week. We have enjoyed all the snow outside. It makes for a much for fun time at recess.
Some of the Explorers did some scissor practice, this morning. This is a great way to build fine motor skills.
Cosby, drew a bird on the dry erase board. Nice work, Crosby!
Ava and Harper S. created a candy factor and shared a delicious, strawberry flavored pop with me.
The Christmas trees on our playground are a great team building activity. Kids will get together to move trees around the playground and use them in different ways.

The Explorers have been enjoying all the wonderful gifts that were donated to our classroom. Thanks again to all of our wonderful families!
