Wednesday, January 13th

Giddy up, horsey!

This morning, we painted with primary colors. At first, friends were exploring what colors they could make by mixing two colors together.

Our whiteboard letters are a lot of fun for letter recognition and tracing.

Mae, found the letters of her name.

The Explorers had fun "fishing" for letters. Each letter they caught, we would identify the letter an what sound it makes. We would talk about what/who starts with that letter.

This week, we started our name tracing worksheets. If you don't see one come home with your child, don't panic, it's a choice, not a have to, yet.

Mae and Lewyn, kicked back and enjoying some good books.

Another fun way that identify and make letters is with our floam and letter mats. Nice job, Ava!

Dwyer, found two letter B magnets.

Margaret, Liam, and Lewyn, worked together to build a giant structure with the magna-tiles, on the light table. They made a house for their animals.

We worked on identifying numbers and counting using dot markers.

A favorite activity in this class is sorting loose parts. If you have any exciting, loose parts that you'd like to donate to our classroom, that would be lovely!
