Friday, January 29th

With the feels like temperature well below zero, we decided to stay inside and do Cosmic Kid Yoga and Disco Yoga. They learned many new poses. Ask them which pose was their favorite.

Coconut pose!

Rocking the baby pose.

Hot Air Balloon.

Spinning like a washing machine.

At morning free choice, some friends chose to make Valentine's for their friends and family.

Luca and Wyatt, explored filling, dumping and measuring water. The was really isn't green, its blue, but blue water in the yellow bin looks green. They were amazed when they scooped the water and it was actually blue!

Mae, used the whiteboards and markers to draw a picture of herself as a baby, her mom, dad, and sister, Iris.

Graham and Liam worked at the light table, building different structures for their animals.

Harper and Wyatt, worked as a team to match up all the letters. Nice job, friends!

Maisie, identified letters and sounds after completing this puzzle. Great work!

Dwyer and Crosby, helped one another count the object cards, identify the matching number and put them together. Such great teamwork!

Earlier this week, we painted heart shaped, paper doilies with pink and purple watercolors.

Crosby, read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" to Margaret, during quiet choice time.

Connor, was comparing the different boards and talking about which one is bigger and which is smaller.

That one was so big, it was taller than him!

Tuesday, January 26th

Recess has been so much fun with all the new, fluffy snow. We have been finding ice chucks and collecting them to use for various reasons.

Marion, lined up all the cars for the "car wash".

Connor, made this beautiful birthday cake for, Ms. Amy. He even sang "Happy Birthday" to her.

When the days are so cold, we shorten our outside time, but to make up for it, we do dancing or yoga, before we go outside.

Since Valentine's Day is only a couple weeks away, we have started talking about love and friendship. We will be decorating bags for Valentine's Day.

Dwyer, enjoyed hunting for the letters in his name.

Morgan was very excited to show me her "snowman" that she drew. Nice job, Morgan!

The Explorers were very excited to climb up this snow mountain! It was so much fun sliding, jumping and rolling down it!

Playtime and Storytime!

A muddy playground is a great place to find worms and Charlotte wasn't afraid to hold one! Sunshine, friends, swings and so many giggles...
