October 17th-21st

Ivy and Mason, giggled as they chased each other around the leaf covered playground.

Friends enjoyed some spooky painting today during morning free choice.

We made ghosts using diluted white paint, straws, and googly eyes.

Jameson, inspected the string slime that was in the sensory bin. It felt like cold, wet spaghetti.

String slime.

We made pumpkins with our orange playdough.

The Explorers have been very interested in worms and other creatures that live under the stumps on our playground. We have found worms, slugs, centipedes, and roly-poly's just to name a few.

Using Candy Corns, we followed patterns to create the letters in the alphabet. We identified to letter, what sound it makes and then counted how many candies it took to create the letter.

T for Teddy!

Jameson found the tiniest worm I have ever seen!

We created pumpkins using orange paper and glue, filling in the pumpkin shape.

The Explorers have been having so much fun with all the beautiful Fall leaves on our playground. We have spent a lot of time raking them into piles and Exploring their beauty.

Another great fine motor building activity is the fuse beads. These beads are the BIG beads which are easier for tiny hands.

Playtime and Storytime!

A muddy playground is a great place to find worms and Charlotte wasn't afraid to hold one! Sunshine, friends, swings and so many giggles...
