Valentine's Day!

As everyone arrived at school this morning, one by one I helped them pass out their Valentine cards to their friends bags. This is really great name recognition practice. It shows how well they have memorized their friends name from all the name labels within our classroom. They are all very excited to go home and open all their Valentines from their friends and teachers.

Wednesday, February 2nd

Today, we used heart cookie cutters and paint to create Valentine's Day pictures.

Jacob, is using scissors to cut our a heart shape that he used dot markers to color.

The Explorers are getting good with cutting.

Greyson, Jacob, and Sebastian, have really enjoyed using the cubes for measuring and counting how big the dinosaurs are.

We have been using our Valentine's playdough with heart shaped cookie cutters and other tools.

Sylas, was hard at working building vehicles with the big legos.

On Monday, we worked together to build a really big train track. Great teamwork, friends!

One really cold day, we did winter animal freeze dance. They thought this was hilarious!

We are still learning about dinosaurs and enjoying them with our playdough and sand play.

Last week, we made Valentine's Day wreaths using paper plates, paint sticks, stickers, and gems.
