Monday, April 18th

Frankie and Greyson, building a village using the wooden cars and cork road.

We ordered some new puzzles and busy books for quiet choice time. They love the challenge of a new puzzle.

We, also, got these letter and number cards, too.

We used tissue paper and glue to create beautiful, Spring flowers.

During quiet choice, friends really enjoy drawing and coloring. Everyone's favorite color seems to be red!

Silas, enjoyed exploring the oobleck!

During morning free choice, we have been dancing to the soundtrack to Encanto.

We used plastic eggs with rice in our sensory bin. They noticed that when they filled them and shook them, they made music!

April 8th

We used paper plates and made bright colored spiral hanging decorations for our classroom.

Nora, Cora, and Lila, took turns being the "teacher" in our outside classroom.

Now that the weather is warmer we are able to play in the sandbox.

Erna, came this week and read us stories about birds and Spring. Everyone got a chance to help with one of the story props. It's their favorite part of story time.

We used the dot markers to trace letters and shapes. It's so much fun to listen to them identify their letters and connect it to a friend or family member.

Who else love a good handful of green beans for snack?

For our Spring time unit, we painted with "mud" using "worms" as our paintbrush.

Building creations and story time!
