Chapin Orchard

Everyone was VERY excited to ride the bus today!

Casey, our tour guide, explained to us what graphing is and how this tree was graphed to make several different kinds of apples.

In the classroom, we learned about the different parts of an apple tree and bee. Casey explained how the bee pollinates the buds and how it turns into an apple.

After we picked our apples, we got to eat one while we listened to a story.

A big thank you to Lucy's mom and dad for helping to press the apples into cider so we could taste test some fresh apple cider. Delicious!
