Friday, May 14th

Luca, blowing away a dandelion.

Today, we used the wind tunnel and balloon for the first time this year. It was a huge hit!

Marion and Crosby, made whacky creatures using the suctions toys.

"Ms. Amy, look at my sunset that I drew."

Ava, used the whiteboard and markers to practice writing her name. Awesome job, Ava!

The Explorers built structures using the Magna-Tiles, for their animals to live in. There was a lot of planning and teamwork happening.

Margaret, drew a Giraffe, using the whiteboard and markers.

It's always exciting when the train rumbles by. "Hi Mr. Conductor!"

We tested out our upper body strength by climbing and pulling ourselves up in the tree.

Crosby, was being silly with the suction toys. He discovered it could stick to his forehead and the floor at the same time!

Lewyn, drew a picture of her mom, dad, and herself, all holding hands.

Dwyer, practicing writing his first and last name.

Marion and Crosby, blasting off into space on their rocket ship!

Graham, found a cozy little shaded spot to sit and relax, while he watched the excitement in the mud kitchen.

Margaret and Mae, making some secret concoction.

"Watch this Ms. Amy. Yeeeeehawwww!" As he twisted the rope above his head like a cowboy.

We rearranged some things in the mud kitchen and they were so excited to try out the new setup.

Morgan said she was "making pancakes".

Patiently waiting for her pan to fill with water...

We still learned more about dinosaurs, this week. This is a color by number that some friends enjoyed doing.

Graham, made a triangle using these connectors.

The Explorers worked hard to dig out some dinosaur skeletons.

And then they compared them to the list to see what kind of dinosaur they were.

Crosby, getting slimy in the Dino lava slime.
